Weight Loss Advice For Somebody Who Really Needs It.?
I am very heavy and i have small children i want to stick around for. all the advice my doc gives is join a program or take diet pills that cost 80 bucks a month all in which i cant afford. i have been trying to lose wieght off and on since i was 16 im 29 now. please help.. and please no rude comments. thank you in advance.
start by analyzing what you eat – and every little crumb counts.
What can you exchange in it for something that’s lower in calorie or even what high calorie thing can you do without for a while?
Cut down your portion sizes. In the nutrition facts on the sides of packages, it tells you what 1 serving of that thing is. Some packages will now have 2 sets of numbers – 1 for 1 serving and another for the whole package.
Drink lots of water.
Get some exercise. Get out of the habit of being a couch potato if you are one. Get up and do something – anything. Exercise doesn’t have to be done at the gym if you don’t have the time. It doesn’t even have to be what most would consider exercise. When you don’t have the time for full blown exercise, get it in little spurts here and there – use the stairs rather than elevators, get off the bus train or taxicab and walk extra blocks to get home or to work, park your car at a far (but well lit) space in a parking lot. Another trick I do when I walk is take the long way around to get somewhere.
Since it’s this time of year, the holidays pose it’s own unique set of circumstances. If you feel you want to enjoy a social event, you can do that by doing extra of the other diet things of cutting back, exercising, etc.

PLEASE take my advice and DO NOT take diet pills. Your doctor is a fool for suggesting it. My mother was given diet pills, and within a month ended up having a mild heart attack, leaving her with pulmonary hypertension and a damaged vein to her kidney for the rest of her life. All because of diet pills.
There are healthy ways to lose weight. First, you should talk to a nutritionist. They can help you change your eating habits so that they are healthy for you and your family. Then, join a gym. You can try a gym like Bally’s, or maybe try Weight Watchers. It’s good to have a good, strong support system in your quest to lose weight. You do need to exercise though, that is a given. If you aren’t burning any calories then weight loss is going to be a struggle. You can also try to track your food. I use a website called Sparkpeople, and I have found it incredibly helpful in my weight loss plan. It lets me keep track of what I have eaten, how many calories, how much fat, and I’ve really lose weight from it.
I wish you the best of luck, and it’s very great of you to want to lose weight so you can stick around with your children. Again, I beg of you, do not take the diet pills. Go talk to a different doctor, a nutritionist, personal trainer, or some other weight loss specialist and have them set you up on a program. It will likely take a while, but you never want to do a crash or fad diet, because the results won’t be permanent. Weight loss is a lifestyle change, and I hope you stick with it
Don’t pay for weight loss. To lose weight you should burn more calories than you are taking in. First step, is to cut down portion size, or eat lower calorie meals. Second step is to increase exercise. Start by increasing your exercise one day a week and work up from there, spend 10 or 20 or 30 extra minutes a week exercising, even if it’s just chasing your kids around the park. Then move up from there to exercise more!
Good luck!

I am a success story (in progress
. I have recently read BODY FOR LIFE FOR WOMEN. It’s a wonderful book that addresses emotional issues as well as giving you (FLEXIBLE!) step-by-step directions on what to eat and when to eat it. The author is very inspirational and motivational. You are so right to want to do this for your kids… This is one of the best gifts that you can give them, and YOU CAN DO IT! Best of all, when you remove weight the right way, it doesn’t come back twice as much and twice as fast, like it does with fad diets. Highly recommend this book, I’d love for you to keep me up-to-date on your progress, too!
You go girl! God bless.
Hi .. my best advice is to do it slowly, dont be in a mad hurry to lose it all quickly. Remember to put as much food in as you need to burn energy (dont undereat or starve yourself as your body will eat off of your fat reserves and your weight will fluctuate.) You dont have to do crazy amounts of exercise, although you have to do enough to break a sweat .. Also watch your portions, being a mum sometimes you just have to eat as you go, but this is the worst thing imaginable. Be positive about it, and dont weigh yourself, go by your clothes, its alot more exciting. As you well know by now, moderation is the key. good luck
What I did, was change my eating habits, to fruits, veggies, fish and stopped eating sweets, bread and rice, cheese. It is very hard. You can do it with lots of determination. When you think you can’t do it no longer, because of it being hard, just think of your children and why you are dieting and the nice clothes you’ll be able to wear. You don’t need diet pills if you eat the right foods and exercise.
I have been working really hard to get a sexy body. I go to the gym every day, watch what I eat, but still could not get the body I wanted. That was until I found this body cleansing stuff. I was able to get the sexy body I wanted in 9 days. I did a 9 day cleanse and lost 10 pounds and 15 inches! This was GREAT! I had been working so hard for over a year to get this, and this program gave me what I wanted in 9 days. I found out that many body builders use this to get ready for competitions because the protein in the shakes builds muscle and the cleanse helps to get rid of the toxins stored in the fat cells. When the toxins are removed, the fat cells shrink and you definitely can tell in the way your clothes fit! I recommend this product for anyone wanting to get a better looking body quickly. I found out about it at this toll free number 1-877-587-4647. It is not a cheap program, but it is worth it! You can also get it at this website http://GetAnewBod.com
I so feel your pain. I used to weigh 343 pounds and I just couldn’t lose the weight. I had a good job with good health insurance and due to my high blood pressure was able to have the gastric bypass. I do suggest that as a final answer and only if you have tried everything else. Gastric bypass is only a tool and you will need to still watch what you eat afterwards. I do know some people who have had a medical card to pay for the weight loss surgery
