Why Do People Say Eat Fruits In Your Diet If They Are Considered Simple Sugars/carbs?

Fruits are not considered complex sugars more of simple sugars. Which like complex carbs, simple carbs they are the same. Anyway, why do people always advise to eat fruit? Plus, I notice what is it about green vegetables that oats, wheat grain, and barley can’t do? If it’s all about the fiber then wheat grain does the same thing. If this is the case what do you REALLY need green vegetables for?

    Vitamins.
There’s not a lot of varieties of vitamins in grains or oats.

    The carbs thing is irrelevant.
Fresh fruits and vegetables are full of vitamins and minerals.
    Grains and cereals are not.
Green veg are especially rich in minerals that you need to make enzymes and remain alive. Fresh fruit has Vitamin C and other nutrients.
Without them you get all kinds of diseases.

Fiber intake is important, but it’s not just “all about the fiber”.
Both fruits and vegetables are rich in vitamins and other nutrients, and low in calories. A healthy diet consists of a variety of foods, and while oats and barley are great food choices, they don’t give you everything you need.

I’ve tried every diet known to man but nothing worked as good as acai berry. I know they say that pills won’t work, however they definitely worked for me, and they’ve been featured on CNN too. There is a free trial going on at the moment at http://lucilne.gesteland.org , why not try it, how worse could it make things?

you have left out the vitamins and minerals that fruit provides as well as the fact that the fruit sugars behave diffferently than other sugars do and that fruit provides a significant amount of fibre which also helps to prevent colorectal cancers.
