If I stop drinking diet soda – will it help me lose weight?

I drink way too many diet sodas – 3-4 a day. I have heard that some people are losing weight by not drinking them – has anyone else heard this/or experienced it?

    Hi.
    This is just a rumor, diet sodas have almost no calories in them so this is not a problem. If you want to lose weight you should exercise and eat food from the basic food groups.

    I duno about that but drinking 3-4 sodas every single is certianly NOT good for your or your teeth. Do everything in moderation!!

    Need to lose weight?

    I use to drink regular sodas and quit about 3 months ago and switched to Crystal Light and have seen no change. Maybe each situation is different.

    Fastest Way to Lose Weight

    There’s nothing particularly wrong with diet soda: they’re liquid, refreshing, tasty and have NO CALORIES!!!! If you want to lose weight, you have to burn more calories through exercise than you take in through eating or drinking. It’s the only way, short of surgery, liposuction or eating disorders.

    It is best to switch to drinking water. Soda, whether diet or not has sugar and will certainly weaken your teeth. Try cutting down to 2 cans per day.

    if you stop drinking pop you won’t belive how much weight comes off. it’s the sugar in the pop that’s making people heavy. when I quit drinking pop I lost 20 pounds and fast.

    Diet soda is bad for you. Although it has no calories, it kills brain cells and has been linked to cancer. Quit the soda and get some water.
