How do diet pills effect a teenage girls health?

Audrina <3 asked:

My friend is on them and her mother doesn’t know. Should I tell her mom? How can this effect her? She is taking her moms diet pills. Will she hurt herself?

Teenage girls shouldn’t be taking diet pills for one reason-responsibility.

    Need to lose weight?

What kind of pills are they? I’m no expert.. but I was told by my biology teacher that if you take diet pills when your under the age of 18, your natural fat burning process levels are overloaded because of the aid of the diet pills, so the fat burning process thinks everything is too high so it shuts itself down forever, and you’re forced to become dependent on the pills.. thats why i stopped taking hydroxycut.

she should not be taking her moms diet pills. especially if they are prescription.

she should concentrate on eating right and working out.
